Description: Our client is currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager - MidAtlantic. Based remotely in Harrisburg, Scranton, Hershey, Baltimore, etc. Lead business development for retail portfolio within the Pennsylvania, Mid-Atlantic, Carolina s and Texas to achieve volume and profit objectives through the effective management of food brokers. To manage trade spending to efficiently maximize effectiveness and accomplish individual brand objectives. Executing customer level business plans and achieving Sales Objectives (Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, Shelving and trade fund management).
Manage the business in the Mid Atlantic, Carolina s and Texas geographies via managing brokers and direct account responsibility key customers include Weis, Redners, AWG, Food Lion, MDI, Giant Martin/Landover, Burris & JOH, Sell Ethic and Schraad Broker Teams.
Lead, train and evaluate broker organizations and business managers and use category management best practices
Manage the accrual budgets to ensure spending and promotional criteria are within promotional guidelines, deliver profitability versus plan and adapt/adjust accordingly on a timely basis
Achieve brand share gains at account greater than or equal to market/customer growth, Deliver base and incremental volume goals through maximizing promotional/performance mix
Develop business relationships with key account personnel through execution of mutually beneficial brand plans and consistent account penetration.

Ability to leverage external resources when an issue does not have a known solution. oAbility to manage a P&L, syndicated data, Vistex and Microsoft applications
Computer proficiency MS Office and other forecasting/trade management systems
Exceptional Communication/presentation skills
Category/brand analytics IRI or Nielsen preferred oSelling and Negotiation Acumen
Strong Planning and organization
Category Management / ECR
Qualifications: Bachelor s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience selling to consumer products accounts Experience working with brokers
