99 Ranch Market is one of the largest Asian Supermarket chains in the U.S., born in Southern California and now operating over 50 stores that reach coast to coast. We are now seeking an individual who has prior operation experiences in produce(vegetable and fruit) related industry, to be a part of our management team. Successful candidate will be appointed as Produce Department Manager after passing a 6-8 months training program.

Master in Produce Department’s daily operation and the Company’s standards

Meet and push department sales projection by all means
-
Design and build product display, maintain freshness and fullness of shelves
-
Responsible for ordering, receiving, and inventory movement of the Meat Department
-
Order strategically based on inventory on hand, promotion events, and delivery schedule
-
Receive produce shipments; exam the quantity and quality of the incoming orders
-
Work closely with store management team to design and implement in store promotion plan
-
Control inventory movement (FIFO), including rotating product display, organizing cooler, and directing physical inventory count
-
Be acquainted with local vendors, and high demanded local products
-
Proficiency in Toledo machine, label updating and price sign printing computer program

Provide schedules to department employees and manage attendance

Human Capital Management: performance review and coach, operational training, mentoring

Maintain safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of the workplace

Ability to read, analyze, interpret technical procedures and training materials

Ability to calculate figures, and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, mass and volume

Minimum 2 years experiences in vegetable and fruit processing related industry

Computer literacy, prior experiences with inventory management program, IT retail, or SAP are highly preferred
