The purpose of this position is to provide information, education and support to Support Office associates.This person will be scheduling interviews, conducting new associate onboarding and orientation, preparing reports, preparing for meetings, tracking information, teaching periodic classes, and assisting the people department.


Follows established departmental and store policies and procedures

Second point of contact for People Support Manager questions and support

Fills in as the receptionist when needed

Assists with administrative functions of the Applicant Tracking System

Schedules and conducts group interviews

Conducts new associate onboarding and orientation

Prepares reports band reports, manager s report, manager accountability, etc.

Tracks and hands out raise reviews, yearly growth plans, policies and procedures in a timely manner

Schedules associates for classes and prepares a monthly meeting calendar

Orders office supplies, Shoes for Crews, Logo Wear and other items as necessary

Manages new applicants through the applicant tracking system

Teaches periodic classes; Teach to Taste, Orientation, 401k Enrollment, Working Safe at Harmons

Responds to phone calls and emails in a timely, professional manner

Assists Directors with duties related to the people department

Attends job fairs

Arranges interviews and processes interview packets

Posts open positions and schedules interviews

Assists with special events and promotions

Assists as needed to ensure the success of the store as a whole


Performs other job-related duties as assigned

A high school diploma or GED preferred; some college education preferred; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office and the internet

Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency and maintain focus

Must be enthusiastic and outgoing to initiate contact and interaction with current and potential applicants

Ability to interpret policies and procedures

Excellent organization and planning skills

Must possess excellent communication skills, including verbal and listening skills in order to effectively and efficiently communicate with customers and fellow associates

Ability to professionally and appropriately handle conflict

Must possess the ability to accept constructive review and be accountable for one s own success as well as the success of your team

Required to make logical, significant decisions using general, recognized skills and techniques

Must possess integrity, a positive attitude, be mission-driven, and be self-directed with a demonstrated passion for Harmons mission and commitment to working collaboratively

Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination; hear and respond to customer inquiries.Also requires sitting, standing, walking and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to occasionally maneuver objects weighing up to 20 pounds from location to location
