A well-established Northwest U.S. based independent supermarket chain is seeking a Meat/seafood manager for one of their locations in Oregon. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
supervision of marketing/merchandising and buying, training and scheduling of department associates, over-all departmental conditions and presentation as well as delivering excellent customer service. This is primarily a fresh-cut department and a full knowledge of meat department equipment and tools is necessary as well as solid experience in meat/seafood cutting and presentation. Qualified candidates will have a 3 to 5 year background of running Meat/Seafood departments in a conventional supermarket setting.
