Description: Our client is currently seeking a Lease Administration Manager - Mid

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • The Lease Administration Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the companies large real estate portfolio. The Lease Administration Manager is part of a collaborative, diverse and driven professional environment. The team maintains and processes critical lease information in the lease database system (CoStar). The Lease Administration Manager is responsible for tracking critical dates, ensuring timely payments of rents, resolving payment issues, and reviewing/abstracting documents. The Lease Administration Manager collaborates and works closely with other groups in Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Legal and Risk Management, as well as being a key point of contact with multiple landlords that range in size from small property owners to large institutions including REITs.
  • What you&##39;ll do: The Lease Administration Manager assists the Senior Managers with maintaining and managing a large diverse real estate portfolio that includes office and retail locations. Ensure rent payments are made in accordance with the lease and are processed on time. Review CAM, miscellaneous charges, and real estate tax invoices. Confirm the invoices are correct prior to payment. Review annual reconciliation statements. Perform desktop audits. Work with landlords and property managers to resolve issues. Perform due diligence for the SNDA and estoppel documents. Manage and respond to landlords requests for certificates of insurance. Manage miscellaneous filing and provide backup for Lease Analyst.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5+ years of Lease Administration or relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of key real estate concepts
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex office/retail leases
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills and problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external business partners
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize/manage time
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using CoStar Real Estate Manager is a plus
  • Minimum BS/BS required
